Connect's trips are designed for middle school girls and boys, ages 11-15. Each trip is comprised of two components: age-appropriate service-learning opportunities and adventure-based activities. Participants will spend roughly half their time in each. The service-learning component involves working with people and organizations in a 'hands-on' manner in projects of community importance. The adventure-based activities vary depending on trip location, but typically involve engaging in social and kinesthetic experiences. The trips are designed to be fun, engaging, educational, and provide a real-life experience of making a difference through community service.
